BOARD OF DIRECTORS MISSION The TROT Board of Directors ensures the financial security and growth, manages
resources effectively, promotes and enhances TROT’s public image, and determines and monitors the programs.
STRATEGIC GOALS The assets and strengths that TROT have
developed and nurtured over the years - its donors, its collaborative partners, its constituents, its volunteers, and its
commitment to the special needs community will continue to be a priority. The goals listed below are intended
to guide the TROT Board of Directors through the year 2010. - Grow and sustain Board membership including growth and development of the Advisory Board
- Ensure program viability through vigorous fundraising for special events, private donations, a
year-round sponsorship fund, and building the endowment fund.
- Use personal resources and connections in the community to increase visibility and awareness of TROT
- Pursue sufficient capital resources for an arena shade port to allow program
expansion and address health considerations of our special needs riders.
- Oversee continuation and expansion of the Veterans Riding Program and other specialty programs
- Maintain a strong volunteer base
